Women Players to be Included in FIFA 2016 Game.

Image
FIFA 16, the latest in the long line of football games, will finally have women's teams, 22 years after the video game franchise began in 1993. To put that in some more perspective, the first FIFA Women's World Cup was held in 1991, though there were several unofficial tournaments hosted in the 1970s and 1980s. The women's national squads of Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and the United States of America, will feature in FIFA 2016 game. The women's teams will represent their respective federations in several FIFA 16 game modes including Kick Off, an offline tournament, as well as Online Friendly Matches. Much like their male counterparts, the development team responsible for the series researched player movement and likeness to replicate teams. Furthermore, motion capture sessions with four top players from United States Women's Team: Sydney Leroux, Abby Wambach, Alex Morgan, and Megan Rapinoe took place a...

Android M will let USB Type C equipped phones recharge other devices

Image
It’s taken a while but USB, the ubiquitous standard finally introduced a new reversible connector that is termed as Type C. We’ve already seen adoption amongst hardware manufacturers and now with Android M, Google is all set to take it up a notch in terms of capabilities. Android M brings with it enhanced support for the USB Type C connector including the new USB Power Delivery 2.0 specification. Plugging in any device will bring up the usual pop up menu that you’ve come to expect but adds in all the new features as well. Thanks to USB Type C supporting two way power transfer via the 2nd generation power delivery spec, you can use your phone or tablet as a means to charge another device. Essentially this means that you can charge your smartwatch or bluetooth headset from your phone or a phone from a tablet. The possibilities are very enticing. Android M comes with Alternate Spec Mode for USB Type C which means that your phone will be able to do a lot more over a sing...

Gionee M5 confirmed with 6000mAH Dual-Battery setup

Image
Gionee M5 Gionee M5 has a 5.5 inch AMOLED display of 720p resolution which means that the 4 day battery life claim could very well be true especially considering it doesn’t have too many pixels to power. The original LG G Flex had a 6 inch 720p P-OLED display with 3500 mAH battery and that gave heavy users a day and half worth of use. So this phone should give considerably more. There is an 8 Megapixel camera on the back along with an LED flash and a 5 Megapixel camera on the front. Despite packing a total of 6000 mAH in its body, the phone is quite slim at 8.5mm but it does weigh quite a bit as it ticks the scales at 213 grams. The phone will run on Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box. There is no information regarding the announcement date yet but we will keep you informed about the same when we get more information.

5 Steps to secure your Android Lollipop device with screen pinning

Image
Android Lollipop comes with some hidden security feature that you may not know of! It's called screen pinning, and what it does is to pin an app of your choice to your smartphone or tablet's display. The very simple idea is about pinning an app, handing the device to someone who wants to use it, and letting them use only, and only this one app that's been pinned to the screen. Moreover, the feature can be combined with the typical screen lock (pattern, pin, password, etc), so if one presses the power button and locks the device, they'll have to get through the screen lock before they get to the pinned app. How do you see this? The only sad story about it is that it's pretty easy to learn that pressing the triangle and square keys together at the same time gets rid of the pinned app. But still, going online and reading guides isn't that easy for small children or older relatives who want to entertain themselves for a bit with your phone. In such cases, app pi...
