Asus Zenwatch gets a price cut – Now available for US$ 150

While Asus announced the Zenwatch 2 earlier this month during Computex, the original Zenwatch has been around since late last year. Now the original Zenwatch has received a price cut and is available for US$ 150.

That is a pretty good deal for a smartwatch that was one of the first to receive the updates to Android 5.1.1. However on the flipside, it is important to note that the Zenwatch doesn’t support Wi-Fi functionality even after the update since it doesn’t have the necessary hardware to do so.

Even then it is quite a good deal especially for those of you who are still toying with the idea of getting a smartwatch but aren’t quite sure and don’t want to invest much in it. The Zenwatch has quite a classy look as well along with its dial that is shaped quite differently from the regular rectangular or round smartwatches. However unlike the Zenwatch 2 which is available in both 37mm and 42mm sizes, the original Zenwatch just has one size.
